Description

Unusually large geometrically inlaid Sorrento round pedestal table with a wonderful rich colour throughout, circa 1900 and in good condition.

This table is ideal for a large central hall table, but also the size will seat four in comfort for dining too.

The geometric inlaid top in walnut, olive wood, mahogany and tulip wood is supported by the bulbous turned and further inlaid pedestal base. Notice also the table top is attached to the pedestal with a hand carved wooden thread, so it is very solid and firm when fitted.
