Large Antique Welsh Wool Blanket

1900 - 1920
Description

A large Welsh wool blanket dating from the early to mid 20th Century. It is a traditional plaid design in beautiful pinks and creams. It is a particularly early example because it has been made in two halves when looms were smaller and then sewn together to make one large blanket.

It is in excellent condition for its age. There are some minor signs of use but no major damages or stains.

Approximate Measurements :

86" (219cm) x 70" (178cm)
