A pair of large neoclassical marble Cassolettes. Rouge/grey veined marble.

Highly decorative gilded bronze mounts in the form of scrolling leaves, the neck

decorated with a frieze of bay leaves, and a pinecone finial on fixed lid. Angular

Greek handles either side. On a square marble base. Super quality and craftsmanship

French, Circa 1890
