An exceptional vintage python skin, tan leather and tan suede clutch bag with handle c1930. The outside and handle are made of a python skin with its striking scaly surface in tones of cream, tan and brown. The handle is united in the centre with a white metal buckle for strength. Inside are three large compartments lined in tan suede, with brown leather edging. One compartment has two extra pockets and another has a built in purse with leather lined flap and stud. A fourth compartment at the front is slimline, suitable for paper or similar. The flaps close with stud fastenings. The whole bag is in exceptionally good order - no tears or breaks in the leather or python skin. The handle also is in very good condition, with almost no signs of wear, just age.
