18th century ottoman flintlock pistol circa 1780, full walnut stock with a tapering steel barrel. The stock finely inlaid with foliate brass and an engraved brass tang, the butt with brass skull crusher sculpted as a grotesque mask, shaped trigger guard, engraved lock plate with a further grotesque mask and a brass sword shaped side plate
