A handsome antique English magnifying glass on stand which pivots on a ball and socket fitting, moving around with ease.

Dating to c.1915, it remains in excellent condition having been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory.

The base measuring 2 3/8" in diameter x 7" tall with a lens diameter measuring 1 1/2" in diameter.

This example is lucky enough to be signed by the maker on the base " Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co. 63 Farringdon Road, London E.C."
