Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Wheel of Life Thangka, or Bhavachakra, is a complex visual representation of Buddhist philosophy illustrating the cycle of rebirth, karma, and the six realms of existence, traditionally held in the jaws of Yama, the deity of death.

Traditional Thangkas are painted on cotton or silk canvas using natural mineral and organic pigments mixed with animal glue binder, often framed in textile borders or mounted within wooden frames for display.

Authentic pieces feature precise iconographic proportions following canonical Buddhist grids, intricate hand-painted brushwork detailing the central mandala figure, and evidence of mineral-based pigments rather than modern digital printing.

Position the artwork as a central focal piece against a neutral wall, pairing it with warm natural wood furniture, low-key lighting, and minimal decorative accents to highlight its intricate detail and colour.

Keep the artwork framed behind protective glass away from direct sunlight and high humidity to prevent pigment fading, paint flaking, or damage to the underlying canvas substrate.
