A wonderful letter scale that would have sat on every desk during the Victorian and Edwardian eras.

This is a handsome shaped example with the base made from solid Mahogany and sitting on three bun feet.

The brass scale is signed "Criterion - Registered Trade Mark". The letter pan is engraved with the Inland Letter Rate of the day.

Excellent condition, measuring 8 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 4" tall.
