A Collection of Three Antiquities from Early Greece

Description

This interesting group of early Greek antiquities consists of three pottery vessels, each one most interesting considering their great age. Circa 4th century BC. A jug with incised decoration, a twin handled flask with traces of a painted design and a twin handled vase with signs of painted decoration. The vase has slight chipping to the rim, but all three are in remarkable condition with no restoration or repair, and each one has a good original untouched finish in keeping with their age.

The largest piece is the vase, which measures 11cm high x 9cm wide x 9cm deep.

After forty years of shop keeping and maintaining beautiful showrooms, which have been regularly open six days a week, Robert and Wendy have now taken a slightly different approach to their business. Having sold their retail premises, the antique business is now fully online. The picture framing service has ceased to operate because of moving online.

All items will be personally hand packaged to a high standard. Small items are extensively wrapped using the best materials and are often double boxed. Items are then shipped with DHL or Royal Mail fully insured and often with next day delivery. Larger items would be personally delivered or sent with a specialist antique delivery firm, or for outside the U.K, a professional shipping company.
