Description

A Victorian mahogany Sutherland table, circa 1880, raised on turned supports and tapered legs with original castors. The narrow central section is flanked by two drop leaves, allowing the table to fold away compactly or extend for use. The twin gatelegs swing out to support the leaves when open. Well-figured mahogany throughout with turned stretcher detail and shaped brackets beneath the tabletop.
