Antique French Inlaid Marquetry Occasional Side Table

Description

A gorgeous antique French inlaid marquetry occasional side table, dating from around the 1880-1890 period.

This is of extremely fine quality, it is predominantly rosewood, with fantastic gilt bronze mounts. The top has a cross banded edge, with parquetry in the centre inlaid with gorgeous floral marquetry. There is a useful lower tier, this is nicely finished on all side, so can be used as a free standing item.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. There are just some very small marks here and there remaining beneath the polish, commensurate for age.
