There is enough over hang at the ends to accommodate a place to sit at. The table will comfortably seat 8. The top is approx 1 1/4 thick and has beautiful colour and grain. The base is of pegged mortice and tenon construction with squared legs and an H stretcher. The long stretcher has a moulded edge and is joined by a peg and dovetailed end. There are decorative shaped spandrels between the legs which are also pegged. A super rare table in the best colour and condition ready for your collection or home.
