Large Magic Lantern Magnifying Lens

1900 - 1920
Description

A large brass mounted magnifying lens dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. Originally from a magic lantern projector these lenses make beautiful decorative desk ornaments.

It is in very good condition for its age and the brass has tarnished with a lovely patina. There are some light surface marks and knocks but no major damages and it displays well.

The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
