Staffordshire pottery figure of the Duke of Wellington, c. 1850. Finely modelled as the great man, standing before a column, with a resolute expression on his face. He wears a long coat, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue, his cape draped over the column, upon which rests his left hand.

Condition – Repair to the base. The figure in excellent, unrestored condition.
