Fabulous Antique English Gilded Letter Rack / Stationery Holder - Cherub & Flowers

Description

Dating to the late nineteenth century, around 1880, this highly decorative letter rack is beautiful quality with an amazing gilded finish in remarkable condition.

There are three divisions or panels creating two sections for the storage of letters or stationery, open at the ends making is suitable to store modern stationery.

The back panel is topped with a winged Cherub or Putti figure and all panels ending with a Ram's head at the end and in between decorated with flower filled cornucopia.

Excellent condition, measuring 9 1/2" x 4 1/4" at deepest x 6" at tallest point. (A couple of tiny holes to base frame from manufacture, not really a fault but mentioned for accuracy - small ding to base at rear).
