Description

An unusual antique 19thc painted decorative " dummy board" measuring 83cms h by 74cms wide.

Dating from around 1820 these so called " dummy boards" were used for decoration and novelty in large homes of the period.

Amusing follies they were called at the time

This one is in super original condition, the painting is still relatively fresh and has no damage.
