A truly stunning pair of French Opera glasses made from polished brass and clad with Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell.

This pair comes with a two drawer lorgnette handle and folds away nicely when not if use. Each Mother of Pearl eyepiece is engraved and inked for the well renowned "Aitchison / London"

The optics are in excellent working order, ready to enjoy your special night at the Opera or Ballet.

Dating to c.1910, they remain in excellent condition and come with a newer velvet pouch.

While folded, they measure 5" x 2" x 2".
