Description

This fabulous Edwardian cream canvas travel trunk is in excellent antique condition. The trunk features a thin wooden frame covered with stiff canvas, complemented by leather corners, straps, and handles. It is furnished with metal studs and wooden batons on the bottom for added durability. The trunk retains its original lined interior with a lift-out tray, as well as its metal clasps and lock (please note that no key is present). The maker's stamp on the leather and the maker's label inside indicate it was crafted by Cleghorn of Edinburgh, a renowned Scottish maker known for their high-quality leather craftsmanship. Overall, the trunk is in very good order throughout.
