Description

A rare and original Coalbrookdale cast iron table, C.1875.

Retaining its original black painted finish with a perforated circular iron top on three winged griffin supports, with trefoil-shaped stretcher and foliate cast feet.

Stamped with registered design number and diamond patent stamp.

This design, number 50, appears in the 1875 Coalbrookdale Castings Catalogue, section II, page 199. See final image for reference.
