Description

A Chippendale, George III style, carved mahogany tilt-top tripod wine table, dating from the second half of the C19th. A high quality table, featuring a single piece of well figured solid mahogany top. Elegantly carved with acanthus leaves and shells. A hinged tilt mechanism. Supported by a carved fluted stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs, terminating in claw feet.

An attractive example, in very good condition and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This table measures approximately 63 cm (25") tall, and the top is 75.25 cm (30.5") by 75.25 cm (30.5").

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Only minor marks and blemishes. Cleaned and Waxed. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
