A Chippendale, George III style, carved mahogany tilt-top tripod wine table, dating from the second half of the C19th. A high quality table, featuring a single piece of well figured solid mahogany top. Elegantly carved with acanthus leaves and shells. A hinged tilt mechanism. Supported by a carved fluted stem, raised on a tripod of carved cabriole legs, terminating in claw feet.
 
An attractive example, in very good condition and ready for use.

This table measures approximately 63 cm (25'') tall, and the top is 75.25 cm (30.5'') by 75.25 cm (30.5'').
