A George III Oval Brass Bound Cellaret

Description

Of excellent quality, the cellaret is made from Cuban mahogany and retains the original stand. The figured lid opens to reveal the original sectional lead lined interior. Note should be made of the unusual hinge block at the back, which is a sign of the cellarets excellent quality and the original draining tap. The cellaret is a superb rich colour with a wax patination. Circa 1755
