A Delightful 19th Century English Mahogany Demi Lune Side Table. Circa 1800.
This table of demi lune shape has three legs. The table top has a deep overhanging section at the back, meant to allow the table to sit comfortably against a wall which has a dado rail on it. The timber used on the top is of excellent quality. The frieze and each leg is ornamented with simple inlaid stringing and there is further inlaid detail at the top of each leg.
A practical, decorative and very useful side table.
