French Made Ww1 Binoculars For British Military Issue C.1916

A wonderful pair of fully refurbished French made binoculars, stamped M G (Ministere de la Guerre) created for the British Military for use during World War 1 in 1917.
 
The brass has been meticulously professionally polished, a winning combination with the leather. The brass is engraved with the military crows foot mark together with S4 and 38249
 
They come with a leather case stamped with military mark and the case makers name ''John & Bennett Green'' and dated 1916 on the lid (wear commensurate with age and use for over 100 years).
 
They are in fully working order and in superb condition. The case measures 5 1/2'' x 3 1/4'' x 6 1/2''.
