French Extending Walnut Painted Dining Centre Table

A French Walnut Louis XVI style dining or centre table dating to circa 1920. The Walnut top, with removable central leaf, has a beautiful colour and patina and the original painted and gilded base, with wonderful detailing, is raised upon round tapering legs, also with gilded floral motifs. With the central leaf added the table can seat eight, depending on the chair size of course. This table would also make a very useful desk.

Wear is commensurate with the age and use with marks and blemishes etc., but this does not detract from the appearance of the table, please ask for more photos if desired.
