Regency brass inlaid library table

Here we are pleased to offer you this Regency brass inlaid library table.

In the Regency period, brass inlaid furniture was the height of fashion, many examples can be seen in the Brighton Pavilion, all showing the art of a craftsman’s skill of laying the intricate patterns of the cut brass into the fine rosewood.

This Regency library table is fitted a pair of drawers to the front.

The library table stands on shaped end supports that are fixed to the platform that allow the swept sabre feet with brass claw toes with the castors under.

There is fine cut brass in the border of the top, around the body and in the end supports. Just imagine the time this work would have taken when this was made in the workshop.

This lovely table can be placed in many places around your home and will certainly be a much-admired piece, that you will be proud to own.
