A Superb Quality Regency Period rosewood antique sofa table. The rectangular top with rounded corners and twin drop flaps veneered in beautifully figured rosewood with kingwood and boxwood banding. Having two mahogany lined frieze drawers to the front with “dummy” drawers to the reverse and raised on tapering end supports with turned roundels, sledge platform and turned bun feet with inset castors, united by a turned stretcher. English circa 1820-1830, in wonderful condition a superb colour and patination.
