This lively PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS, with well-defined coats and muzzles, date from circa 1860.They have pleasing, wide-open eyes and are decorated with copper lustre highlights which, during the firing process, has morphed into a wonderful deep turquoise blue in places.
