A shadowbox frame, densely filled with scrolls and ornaments of rolled paper, gilt and pigmented, the central medallion showing the kneeling figure of a Benedictine monk, a dog and a swan, all of glass and produced at Nevers, the monogram MA with a crown above, another crown below, and also incorporating fragments, each with a label for a Martyr Saint, the reverse applied with a printed label ECCLESIA METROPOLITANA AQUENSIS.
