AJD Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
But it does have some issues - the Malacca haft has some repaired splits, the two sections of the stick do not line up exactly, the brass ring in the throat has been replaced, the top of the cane has dents and dings but generally this is a fine solid cane ending in a sturdy steel ferrule.
The damage is reflected in the price.
