Antique Swedish Silver Walking Cane Stick 19th Century

Description

A decorative antique Swedish / Continental silver handled walking cane with impressed hallmarks GAB L8, circa 1860 in date.

It has a very decorative silver hook shaped handle which bears the engraved enscription 'E Westlund Pa 50 Ardsdagen', that was made with great attention to detail, above a sturdy hardwood ebonised tapering shaft.

It is a lovely item and as such would be appreciated by any collector of walking sticks or canes.

Condition:

In goodcondition. As an antique item, the cane shows signs of use commensurate with age, these minor condition issues are mentioned for accuracy and, as seen in the accompanying photographs, it displays beautifully.
