An interesting table made in France in the mid part of the 19th century.

Quality oak carved skirt .

The unusual feature of this table is the four pull out slides , one on each corner. Perhaps to hold a lamp or candle / i really am not sure .

The table itself would have many uses. It would look wonderful in the hall of a country house or as a lamp table.
