Outstanding taxidermy African bull giraffe in naturalistic pose, mounted on a faux rock bed. This is an impressive piece of quality taxidermy standing at imposing 8ft 11" high. This is rare piece of taxidermy done extremely well with a painting of the animal on the leather at the base of the shoulder. This giraffe is a very attractive & decorative piece of taxidermy on a very impressive scale and is in good original condition.

The giraffe is the tallest of all living mammals with their legs being taller than most humans. Their distinctive patterned coat is unique to each individual giraffe and can be a way of identifying what area in Africa the giraffe originated from.

This handsome beast was bought from a taxidermy specialist where we believe the skin came from an African wildlife park where older or injured giraffes are often culled or pass of natural causes and the skin is sold to help the prevention of poaching and hunting.
