A wonderful pair of table globes hand painted made of a wooden frame that’s painted and a metal ring and globe covered in paper

The date I would put on these is 1920s but they have the look of a C17th pair

Quite a lot of lightning of all the details a lot of the segmented measurements on the ring are quite faded. The writing is all in Latin
