The mahogany console tables are constructed with single-plank tops (a sign of quality) from top-quality solid mahogany in the shape of demi-lunes. Below, the hall tables are decorated with an elegant wavy-shaped apron, decorated with boxwood banding, raised on square tapering legs.

The Georgian pair of console tables boast a stunning deep rich red-brown mahogany colour, having been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop. They possess a fantastic colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning they have received.

Condition Report:
This is a fine quality antique English Georgian pair of console tables, constructed from solid mahogany, featuring boxwood banding, circa 1800, in excellent condition. The console tables have been adapted from a dining table. This pair of mahogany console tables have been cleaned and professionally French polished by hand in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination are of an excellent standard. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges, but nothing significant considering the age of them. There are no splits to the tops (as the tops are impressively constructed from a single pieces of timber). This pair of Georgian pair of console tables are well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
