Description

A fine pair of early hand carved walnut cherub heads from the 17thc....they have probably come from a piece of early furniture (I would have loved to have seen it) or room panelling, beautifully carved from one piece, with attractive facial features and elaborate collars / ruffs....on the reverse is some very early writing, which I haven't been able to translate......excellent colour with a fine patination and in good condition.
