Description

A lovely folding chess / drafts board made from Mahogany with the squares being made from Mahogany and Beech Wood.

The box comes complete with a set of Ebony & Boxwood checkers. The brass hinges are signed and dated (Thomas Sanders 1915) allowing us to date it fairly accurately.

The box is secured with two brass catches which have been replaced but are totally in-keeping.

Excellent condition, measuring 13 1/2" x 6 7/8" while closed.
