A charming Aesthetic movement ebonised wall bracket. The piece is typical of the Aesthetic movement with a bold ebonised profile with simple machine turnings, contrasting with a central gilt roundel. The gilt roundel is beautifully painted with a robin in brambles. The whole is in very good condition the ebonised wood is clean and fresh and the gilt roundel in excellent condition. It is probably there was a turning on the very bottom which is now lost. This is a great piece of Aesthetic period design and would have been used to display a prized piece of porcelain on the wall.
