A 19th century sycamore butter mould/stamp. It consists of two halves each half is carved with a swan, mirror image of each other. There are two small pegs in the corners on one half and two small holes in the corner on the other, so that the two halves fit together. The butter mould would create a 3D butter swan.
This butter mould measures 7.5cmw x 4.7cm d x 6cm h when the two moulds are fixed together.
