A 19th century possibly earlier ebonized, entwined root wood stick, carved with Shinto Sun Goddess ‘Amaterasu’ looking down on eight iconic Japanese gods, including Benzaiten on a sea Dragon & Kannon holding a child. With Fish, Monkey, Frog, Pony and unidentified mythical beasts decorated along the shaft of the cane.
