A very unusual late Georgian 8 seater pedestal dining table or hall centre table, circa 1840.
The size of this table gives space for two people on each side and plenty of room in the centre for serving etc, or it will stand alone as a hall centre table very well too.
The table does have a tilt mechanism as shown, so it does make it very easy to move around at home if necessary. (The top comes away from the base pedestal for delivery purposes).
Good solid condition and a wonderful rich mahogany tone.
