Solid Mahogany Victorian Display Pedestal

Description

This is a good Victorian display pedestal in solid mahogany dating from around 1870. The central turned column has a spiral twist design with attractive carved acanthus detail and a good rich colour and patina.

This is raised on solid mahogany outswept pad feet to the base.

The piece is in nice clean condition ready for use.

The pedestal measures 98 cms high 28 cms in diameter at the base and 25 cms in diameter at the top.

Rams Head Antiques is a family business based in Wolsingham in Weardale where we have had shop premises for 28 years. The shop is generally open every Saturday from 11 am till 3 pm.
