Here we have a superb sofa table in Brazilian rosewood with amboyna inlay ,cross-banded in coramandel and the column and feet are parcel gilt. It has two drawers both of which still lock. All together a remarkable piece of furniture ,with a hint of Thomas Hope design.made around 1820. ( 88 cm with flaps down ) This is finished all round so is free standing.
