....they are often carved, like this pair to enhance the beauty of a room....you often find them in grand houses, churches, cathedrals, castles ....this fine pair are carved typically of the period with oak leaf and central trailing beadwork....in very nice condition and have never been polished, as they would have been out of reach..!
