Taxidermy- Stuffed Amazon Parrot

Description

Originating from South America, this Blue fronted Amazon Parrot was most probably an exotic pet and would have been much prized in Victorian society. Complete under its original glass dome.

Very much in the manner of Henry Ward London.

Circa 1870.

48.5cm high.
