This large-scale Edwardian miniature doll's bed dates from circa 1910 and belongs to the English Country House style. Constructed from dark brown oak, the miniature furniture piece features turned legs, ball finials, a spindle back, and small metal castors. The headboard and footboard display vertical spindles beneath top rails topped with ball finials, while the frame is raised on turned legs terminating in brass and porcelain castors. An original buttoned mattress and a matching pillow in a striped pink, green and cream fabric sit upon the sprung mattress base.
