Technical Description
 
An early 19th century Georgian Thomason Double Action Corkscrew which was first patented in 1802 by Sir Edward Thomason.
 
 
Turned wooded handle with horsehair brush containing a unique mechanism with both male and female threads which allows for one continuous action which pierces and also removes the cork. Copper and Brass base with royal crest.

Condition
 
Excellent, all parts in full easy working order, the horsehair intact and relatively clean. The wood in unchipped and uncracked condition.
