Lovely Japanese Meiji (19thc) Smoking Ensemble Of Tobacco Pouch, Pipe And Pipecase

Japanese Meiji (19thC) tobacco pouch (tabako-ire), pipe (kiseru) and pipecase (kiseruzutsu). The bamboo red Murakami lacquerware (Murakami Kibori Tsuishu) pipecase is decorated with a beautiful incised floral design, while the silk brocade tobacco pouch (lined in soft leather) has a mixed metal floral clasp (mae-kanagu). The pipe is silver and bamboo. There is also a carved ojime. The pipecase measures approx. 8in (20cm) x 1.25in (3cm).
 
Excellent patina and condition.
