Charming small Japanese Meiji (19thC) Karamatsu maki-e lacquer agarwood incense tray. Beautifully decorated in maki-e on a nashiji ground with a striking temple and harbour scene. Comes with period fitted box. Measures 19.2cm x 12cm x 2.5cm high.
