Original Large & Full Antique Coco De Mer

A particularly good coloured late 19th century antique Coco De Mer nut / seed of large size and in excellent condition. This is an original, full size antique Coco de Mer, not pane that has been altered to a basket. Lodoicea maldivica is commonly known as the sea coconut, a double coconut or the love nut for obvious reasons. A lovely symmetrical model that dates to around 1890-1900.
