Antique George III Chippendale Style Solid Mahogany Serpentine Fold Over Games Table surviving from c1760.
Standing on four elegant Squared Legs of Cluster Column form.
Above is a deep frieze with a Dragooned edge typical of the Chippendale style.
Having one Gate leg which folds out to support the top once opened , behind the leg to the back is a useful secret drawer.
The top having a serpentine front and constructed from a rich Dark Cuban Mahogany opens up to reveal a green baize with some wear. The top having a stress fracture to the centre and an honest repair to the front left leg join but is structurally sound and is typical of a table of this age.
